About the role

As an Orthotist, you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality orthotic services to a diverse client population. You'll assess client needs, develop treatment plans, prescribe and fit orthotic devices, and provide ongoing review and support to help clients achieve the best possible outcomes.

  • Has experience assessing, prescribing and reviewing a wide range of orthotic interventions.
  • Builds strong relationships with clients, whānau and health professionals.
  • Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Is committed to delivering person-centred care and positive client outcomes.
  • Contributes to service improvement and professional development activities.
  • Has a curiosity for new technologies and innovative approaches that improve client outcomes and service delivery.
  • Is committed to continuous learning and professional development, with a willingness to explore new clinical techniques and emerging orthotic technologies.
