Based in our purpose built Christchurch Centre, you'll be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred orthotic care across a diverse caseload. Job Description
As an Orthotist, you will:
Assess, prescribe, design and fit a wide range of orthotic devices.
Deliver high-quality, evidence-informed care focused on achieving the best outcomes for patients.
Work closely with patients, whānau and other health professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
Manage your own caseload while contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Support service development and innovation within the orthotics service.
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
A recognised qualification in Orthotics and eligibility for registration in New Zealand.
Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving and communication skills.
A patient-centred approach and commitment to delivering excellent outcomes.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience across a broad orthotic caseload would be advantageous, but we also welcome applications from early-career clinicians
A proactive approach to innovation, continuous improvement and the use of technology to enhance patient care and clinical practice.
