We are continuing to strengthen our national supply chain function to better support our clinical teams and ensure the right products are available, at the right time.

Job Description

The role

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator (0.5 FTE) to join our team, based in Wellington.

This is a hands-on, operational role supporting day-to-day supply chain activities across the organisation. You’ll play an important role in ensuring products are available when and where they are needed, while contributing to a more standardised and efficient national approach.

You’ll work closely with clinicians, service teams, and the wider supply chain function to support reliable and consistent supply processes.

The role is 20 hours per week, with the flexibility to work the hours over 4 or 5 days. We’re happy to discuss what works best for you.


Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate purchasing of clinical and operational stock
  • Raise and track purchase orders
  • Liaise with suppliers to manage orders, deliveries, and queries
  • Support stock management and inventory accuracy
  • Assist with resolving supply issues and urgent requests
  • Maintain accurate records within systems
  • Contribute to improving supply processes and consistency across centres

Desired Skills and Experience

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in administration, coordination, or supply chain/logistics
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation
  • Confidence working with systems and data
  • Good communication skills and ability to build relationships
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment is helpful but not essential.
