- Other shared corporate services that enable frontline delivery
You’ll be a trusted advisor to the Chief Executive and Board, and play a key role in strengthening systems, capability, and organisation-wide performance.
What we’re looking for
You are a calm, credible, and values-led senior leader who brings sound commercial judgement and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach. You are comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels and know how to bring people with you through change.
You will bring senior leadership experience in finance and corporate services, along with the mindset to grow with the organisation as it continues to evolve. Your background is likely to include:
- Proven senior leadership experience in finance (CFO, GM Finance, Head of Finance or similar)
- Experience leading or overseeing broader corporate services functions
- Strong governance, risk, and reporting capability, ideally with Board-level reporting experience
- A progressive, improvement-focused mindset, with the ability to innovate and optimise systems and processes
- The ability to build high-trust relationships across executives, stakeholders, and teams
- Understanding of public sector or Crown entity environments is helpful, but candidates from other complex sectors are also encouraged
- A relevant professional qualification (eg CA, CPA, or equivalent) is desirable
Why join Peke Waihanga?
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior executive role with genuine scope and influence.
You will be joining a values-driven organisation with national reach, strong momentum, and a leadership team deeply committed to both purpose and performance. Peke Waihanga combines social impact with a progressive, forward-thinking approach to service delivery and organisational development.
