Join an innovative and collaborative team shaping the future of prosthetics in Aotearoa.

At Peke Waihanga, our vision is “Independent and productive lives for the people we care for.” We provide a nationwide prosthetic and orthotic service that integrates manufacturing, rehabilitation, coordination of care, and peer support — ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.

We are looking for a Silicone Technician to join our Product Development & Commercialisation (PDC) Team in Hamilton. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of creativity, technical skill, and patient care — developing custom silicone devices that restore both function and confidence.

This position is a 12-month fixed-term role to cover parental leave. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a national organisation that leads innovation in prosthetics and orthotics. Whether you’re a New Zealander keen to grow your career or an international applicant seeking valuable professional experience in Aotearoa, this role offers the chance to develop your skills and contribute to meaningful work — with potential opportunities for future growth within Peke Waihanga.

You’ll work alongside prosthetists/orthotists, technicians, and other allied health professionals, contributing your expertise to create innovative solutions that make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
