Job Description
About the role
As a Physiotherapist at Peke Waihanga, you will:
Work across all aspects of post-amputation care, from stump management through to fitting and training in the use of artificial limbs
Be an integral member of our interdisciplinary clinics and team decision-making processes
Develop and maintain strong professional networks across health providers to ensure seamless patient care
Gain specialist skills in amputee rehabilitation, with full support from our team
Desired Skills and Experience
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a strong communicator with:
Experience in rehabilitation and delivering patient-centred care
A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for learning in a multidisciplinary environment
Interest in prosthetics, orthotics, and rehabilitation
A commitment to equity, ensuring all patients have access to the right care and technology based on need
Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate (or eligibility)
