Job Description

About the role

As a Physiotherapist at Peke Waihanga, you will:

  • Work across all aspects of post-amputation care, from stump management through to fitting and training in the use of artificial limbs
  • Be an integral member of our interdisciplinary clinics and team decision-making processes
  • Develop and maintain strong professional networks across health providers to ensure seamless patient care
  • Gain specialist skills in amputee rehabilitation, with full support from our team

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a strong communicator with:

  • Experience in rehabilitation and delivering patient-centred care
  • A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for learning in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Interest in prosthetics, orthotics, and rehabilitation
  • A commitment to equity, ensuring all patients have access to the right care and technology based on need
  • Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate (or eligibility)
