We are looking for a Clinical and Workshop Lead to join our Wellington Centre team. This role is critical in creating a world-class service in the region by leading both clinical and technical teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

As Clinical and Workshop Lead you’ll work closely with the Regional Manager to ensure smooth service delivery, manage workshop workflows, and foster a strong, values-driven team culture.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Provide clinical oversight and technical leadership to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality service.
  • Lead and support your team with coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Collaborate across clinical, workshop, stock, and service coordination teams for seamless patient care.
  • Build strong relationships with hospitals, surgeons, orthotic centres, and health providers.
  • Drive improvements in service delivery, device quality, and workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain your own (minimal) clinical caseload

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and grow high-performing teams.
  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge in prosthetic and orthotic design, manufacturing, and technology.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to patient-centred care, cultural awareness, and equity of service delivery.
  • A degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics
