Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Orthotist to join our experienced and supportive team in Dunedin. In this role you will work alongside other prosthetist/orthotists, medical specialists, technicians, physios and other allied health professionals, and have an integral role in providing a world class service to our patients. The position involves seeing a range of patient presentations, both in clinic and hospital settings. You will be well supported by experienced technicians in an on-site workshop, and, and ideally also spending some time in the workshop, with dedicated administrative support

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate for this role will have

  • A broad range of experience in orthotics
  • An interest in working with patients with complex needs, both paediatric and adult
  • The ability to manage a varied caseload including a mix of clinic and hospital based
  • The skills and motivation to help further develop our service and improve health outcomes for our patients

We are seeking a team player who can equally contribute to and share responsibilities with others in the team. You will need to have a strong commitment to continuous learning and, if you are a more experience orthotist, to sharing your broad knowledge and experience to support the ongoing professional development of other Orthotists.
