Our team of Service Coordinators are the linchpins of our organisation!  The Service Coordinator role is key in ensuring we provide a professional, patient-centred service and that the wider team are well supported with timely and efficient administrative support.

Job Description

To be successful in this role you will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills. Working predominantly on the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation side of our business, you will be confident in a fast-paced environment where you interact with a range of people from many different walks of life. 

As Service Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for our amputee patients and will assist them with a range of enquiries and requests whilst working effectively with other Service Coordinators to support our Clinical Prosthetics, Rehabilitation team and the Central Regional Manager.

Some of the Service Coordinator’s responsibilities are:

  • Welcoming amputees and their support people in person, on phone or via email
  • Assisting amputees with requests for consumable stock items
  • Supporting the Regional Manager in running effective local and regional clinics
  • Preparing reports, referrals and type up clinical notes as per policy
  • Updating our national database as requested by health professionals
  • Supporting the prosthetists making appointments
  • Filing, stationery orders
  • Financial – Coding invoices, EOM accruals, Petty Cash Reconciliation and Banking
  • Travel arrangements for staff
  • Stock ordering and receipting
  • Liaison with outside physios, hospitals, GPs and specialists

Desired Skills and Experience

This is an interesting and varied role, and the ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator who stays calm under pressure and has strong organisational skills and attention to detail.  You will need to flexible and adaptable with a good sense of humour!
