Our team of Service Coordinators are the linchpins of our organisation!  The Service Coordinator role is key in ensuring we provide a professional, patient-centred service and that the wider team are well supported with timely and efficient administrative support.

Job Description

To be successful in this role you will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills. Working predominantly on the orthotics side of our business, you will be confident in a fast-paced environment where you interact with a range of people from many different walks of life. 

As Service Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for our orthotic patients and will assist them with a range of enquiries and requests whilst working effectively with other Service Coordinators to support our Clinical Prosthetists, Stock team, Rehab team and Prosthetics Manager.

Some of the Service Coordinator’s responsibilities are:

  • Welcoming patients and their support people in person, on the phone or via email
  • Ensuring information entered into our patient database is accurate and up to date
  • Identifying inefficiencies in processes and making recommendations for improvements
  • Assisting patients with requests for consumable stock items
  • Preparing reports and referrals
  • Supporting the prosthetists/orthotists in making appointments
  • Scheduling, rostering and running reports
  • Providing effective and efficient administrative support to the Clinical Prosthetists and wider team

This is an interesting and varied role, and the ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator who stays calm under pressure and has strong organisational skills and attention to detail.  You will need to flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in a changing and evolving environment.
