We are seeking a Stock Administrator for a new role in our Product and Development Team, based in Hamilton. This role is 28 hours per week, across Monday to Friday.

Job Description

The is varied position involving the coordination of our 3D printing process, silicone job orders and the management of R&D purchasing and receiving processes.

The ideal candidate for this role will be solutions focused and proactive, with the ability to identify and manage issues that may arise. You will need to be a confident communicator who has good understanding of stock systems and the ability to plan ahead and coordinate with others to ensure a smooth workflow.

You will join a highly skilled and supportive team who are leading innovations in prosthetic and orthotic produce development in New Zealand. 

As Stock Administrator some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring adequate stock is on hand to meet forecast requirements, ordering additional stock on a ‘just in time’ basis
  • Assisting office administrators with requests for consumable stock items for patients
  • Providing clinicians with updates on job status and ensuring databases are up to date and accurate
  • Identifying and recommending stock management improvements to benefit organisational and patient outcomes
  • Managing stock ordering and receipting
  • Providing support to the Product Development and Commercialisation Lead to ensure silicone and 3D processes are streamlined and continuously improving

Desired Skills and Experience

As Stock Administrator you will need to have strong relationship building skills so as to collaborate with the national stock team and work effectively with international suppliers.

This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and would suit someone who likes working with numbers, and good IT skills and a service-based work ethic to support our frontline staff..
